Nine children known: Baptist Park (Probably 1800, NC – 1853, GA) m. Fanny (Frances) Chandler (ca. 1800 – bef. 1850) in 1821, at Jackson Co., GA. Had at least one daughter, perhaps more. John J. Park b. 1799, m. Cynthia Perry, 1822. Twelve children. Other children were Robert; William, who married a Potts; Wilson, who married a Pendally; James; Hannah m. Sam Carithers; Elizabeth m. Lemuel Swan; and Russell Jones Park m. Sarah Morticia Stokes, and had known issue. |
GZ | Nathaniel Parks (1785, NC – ????) (Represented) m. (1) Unknown, m. (2) Rebecca (Unknown) (1805, NC-????) before 1832. Known children – First Marriage: Daniel Parks (1816, NC – ????) m. Mary A. (Unknown) (1823 – ????); five children. Two other children supposedly born to this union but thus far un-named. Known children – Second Marriage: Eliza Parks (1832, IN – 1922, MO) m. Beverly Shannon (1827-1857) (male), 1852, Dekalb Co., MO. Three children, surnamed Shannon, only one of which is known by name. Mary Polly Parks (1837, IN – 1902, MO) m. 1854, Harvey Richard Truex; nothing further known. |
HZ | Margaret Parke (1737 – 1810, PA) (Represented) m. Capt. John Rutherford (1737, PA – 1804, PA) 1762. Fragment female lines are often the most difficult to trace, unless one stumbles on some record showing a parent living with them. It is believed that Margaret’s father was named John, but nothing further is known. Nine children known, surnamed Rutherford: Martha Rutherford (1765, PA – 1849, OH) m. Capt. James Collier (1752, PA – 1844, OH) 1787, Dauphin Co., PA. Had issue. Other children include Jane, Thomas, Samuel, Mary, John, and William Rutherford. Some marriage data and dates are known, but nothing more. |
IZ | James Andrew Park (1797, TN – 1858, MO) (Represented) m. Roxana Gillean (ca. 1815, AL – ????, MO), 1842, AL. She married secondly John Chandler and had children by that marriage also. Seven children known to the Park-Gillean marriage. There were seven children: David Franklin Park (1845, MO – 1930, OK) m. Sarah Jane Clements, 1867, Crawford Co., MO. Had issue but details unknown. Other children were: Harriet, Malinda, Samuel, Rebecca, Robert, and Jane. |
JZ | Robert Park (ca. 1750, Ire. – 1795, Philadelphia, PA) (Represented) m. Mrs. Jane (Bailey) Jackson, widow of Capt. Jackson (ca. 1749, Ire. – 1831, Cambria Co., PA) ca. 1775, Ballywalter, County Down, Ireland. Lineage is nicely written up. Four children: John Park (surveyor) (1776, Ire. – 1844, PA) m. Mary Lang (1783 – 1864) 1807, Franklin Co., PA MO. Had nine children. Other children were: Mary Park who married Nimian Cochran; Ann Park who married John Linton; and Elizabeth Park who married John Agnew. |
KZ | William Parks (ca. 1790, NY – 1863, NY) (Represented) m. (1) Unknown; m. (2) Ann (Unknown) sometime before c. 1828. This documentation. Six children known, but other than some spouse names little is known. LZ | Richard Parks (ILZ1) (ca. 1640, Eng – 1726, Eng) (Represented) m. Alice Fell, 1661 England. Of their six children only Richard (01LZ1) is known to have come to the Colonies. This is an immigrant line.Richard Parks (01LZ1), a Cordwainer (1672, Eng. – 1733, Chester Co., PA), m. (1) Ellin Shires, 1699, Yorkshire, Eng. There is no known issue from this union. He m. (2) in 1713, at Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Susanna (Watson) Carleton, widow of Mark Carleton. There were five children by this marriage.

Children by second marriage: Ambrose Parkes, d. 1951, married three times, one child known by his second marriage. He later remarried a Nancy McDonald and had seven more children (not Park). Other children were Robert Parks (b. ca. 1821, IN) , married Eliza Rich; Miranda Parks (ca. 1823 – 1852) m. Lynden Lowe 1841); Marion Parks, m. Clement H. McDonald, 1849, IN; Meredith Parks, b. 1829, IN; and Minerva Parks, b. ca. 1835, m. William M. Kellams 1875. |
SZ | Lewis Marion Park 02SZ4 (1850, MO – 1910, WA) (Represented) m. Clara Almira Maynard (1861, TX – 1939, WA) in 1877. Two known children.We have some information concerning the parents of Lewis Park, but not much. His father’s name was either a “J” or a “D” Parke. His mother was Jane Mason. Both were born in OH. Lewis supposedly also had three brothers, Harvey or Hervey, Al, and Judson.

Parks (ca. 1815 – 1874) m. Annis Alean Gilliland 1838 PA; five children. Other children (surnamed Parks) are James, Jr. (1812 – 1882) m. Elizabeth Arters; Joseph (1818 – 1894), m. Margaret Bigley; Elizabeth (1810 – 1888), m. Samuel Arters; Rachel (ca. 1806 – b1861) m. Carlisle Bright; and Thomas B. (1821 – 1886), m. Belinda Nesselrood. All the children had issue. There appears to be a DNA tie-in to Lineage Keys “Z”, “EV”, and “LQ.” |
